Description

The Trail Tent 4 lets you hit the trail with comfort. Mesh walls, storage pockets and an extremely easy clip setup makes camping almost too easy. With noiseless zippers on the two entries, early risers won't wake up the entire camp in the morning. Perhaps they will even make you coffee before you even get up!

I would have given this 5 stars if it came with DAC poles! This tent is a great value and proved to be very waterproof as advertised. My wife, son and I all fit very comfortably in this tent. We added a queen size Coleman air mattress and still have room along the sides for our clothes. We purchased this back in May 2011 and have used it on two trips to Pa and Ct. The Pa trip was VERY wet and windy! It poured on us all night to the point that we had a small stream running under the tent. We stayed completly dry throughout. It kept this up for three days and we never had an issue. I do plan to seal the seams before the 2012 camping year starts for us but that is only a precaution and not the result of any problems. I also purchased heavier duty tent stakes but did not have any problems with the ones suplied. The rain fly goes on fast and the clips ensure a snug fit. The entire tent takes about 15 minutes to setup with one person and maybe 10 with my 12 year old son. The doors are wide and having them on the front and back makes late night trips to the bathroom a breeze. All in all this is a great product and I am expecting as many years of use with this as I have had with my Slumberjack sleeping bag. UPDATE: We went back to the same campsite from last year and in addition to the rain we had a Tornado Warning, Flash Flood warning and (new to me) Deadly Lightning Warning! Needless to say we are picking a new spot next year. The Trail tent held up great and we stayed completely dry. This is only season two with the tent but all is going well. Still wish I had DAC poles but otherwise no complaints. I noticed that the price has dropped even lower than what I paid and that was a great price to begin with. You will not be disappointed with this tent.
