Ground Turkey Lettuce Wraps

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 tsp minced garlic (or 2 cloves)
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 8 oz water chestnuts
  • 2 green onions
  • 1 head butter lettuce
  • Tortillas

Recipe

Heat oil in pan on medium heat. Add ground turkey and saute until brown. Typically about 3-5 minutes. Stir in garlic, onion, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, hoisin sauce, and ginger. Cook until onion is translucent. Stir in water chestnuts and green onions. Cook for another 1-2 minutes. Serve with lettuce or on mini tortillas
