    1. Wanted to love this tent also

Took this tent on 2 road/camping trips. Each one was 30 days long. To keep my 4 kids, wife, and black lab warm and dry is my main goal. Here is how it held up:

Pros: love the design, color, general shape, and ease of putting up. Love the three separate rooms ( 3 people in one room, 3 in the other, gear in the middle), height is good, holds up in a strong wind (lots of guy line tie downs but get better stakes)

Cons: front door, huge problem. It's just a big flap with a zipper on each side but no zipper on the bottom. The bottom flap is not taut (this is where the door flap meets the bottom) so critters can get in and our dog escaped several times when she heard coyotes. Also, water can leak in during rain fall. Continuing on, water collects in a big puddle just above the awning cover and above the door flap. After a 8 hr, non stop rain in Yellowstone, I went to open the front flap, my head hit the puddle from the bottom and all the water rushed into our tent.
The foot print I bought with it did not perform well. Water soaked right through then into our tent.
Three tent poles broke on three separate occasions in the middle of our road trip. Ugh!

Overall, this is a fair weather tent designed for mild conditions. Slumberjack was awesome though, they replaced all tent poles, they even sent one express to a city near our campsite while on the road. GREAT customer service! All their products are good, just not this one

    2. Wanted to love this tent

So we loved this tent! The look, design, all the cool factors, vents, 3 rooms and how spacious it looked.
Well, to start off it was very spacious. However the pictures made it seem like it had a screen for the main entrance, which would have been awesome. Well it doesn't. So, it's open or closed. Tons of bugs got into the tent. Then when you went to open a door to the other rooms those bugs went right into your room. I thought I could deal with that. Strike 1 no big deal.
Well, then it started to rain and the awning on the tent collected all the water. Well it busted on us twice each time letting in about a 5 gallon bucket of water right in our living area. Strike 2, well we thought we could live with that. No big deal, annoying and crappy yes but tent held up during the wind and rain.
Rain stopped went to bed. Heard some noises in the tent. Since, the tent has only 2 zippers to close each side and not the bottom a raccoon sneaked his way into our tent and started to eat the dogs food. Totally not ok to have wild animals in your tent. Strike 3. Horrible to have no zipper on the bottom. The kids were right there.
We had no problems with the poles
The designed was cool just not completely thought out.
      No rain fly
Windows would collect rain and when we opened the windows rain fell into the tent.
      No front door screen
      No bottom zipper
If anything touched side of tent the water came in.
Bad design for the front awning.

We had to return the tent and get something that we could trust to keep us dry and keep critters out.
This could be the tent for you if you don't mind getting wet and critters joining you in the tent when you sleep!!

    3. Set-up Simple; Seam separation with divider and floor.

As previous reviews have stated, there are no written directions. However, all that comes with this tent is the 4 poles and the stakes. Seemed straightforward to me. I was able to set the tent up completely in 20 minutes all by myself. Also, take your time putting the poles in. Make sure you have the tent stretched out over the pole prior to inserting on the final side. This way, I did NOT have issue with a broken pole. They seemed perfectly fine to me. It's a tight fit, but I would hope so! I wouldn't want a saggy tent! I then worked my way from one side to the other staking it down. Looked Good. I left it up overnight for trial purposes. Also, sprayed it down with the hose to determine how good it was with water as it does not have a rain fly! Worked great! No water came in. However, this simulated a light shower, not a downpour. Seems on bottom of tent are taped. Takedown simple and straightforward! LOVED the duffle bag for storage. No more trying to fit back into the smallest size possible. Leave some windows/doors open to let the air out when storing.

Only issue... while inside the tent just walking around I noticed the seam on one of the dividers to the floor had become separated. About a 4 inch span. This I'm currently working with customer service to see what my options are. I'll keep this updated once I find out.
