I bought this tent to use at a bike rally. I was surprised to see that it fit in my Harley Road King saddlebag with ease. It is quick and easy to set up and has plenty of room inside. I haven't had it up in heavy rain or wind, but no problem with the light/moderate rain I have experienced. I am very happy and if I ever had to replace it, it will be with another one. andy on Feb 16th 2015
I bought this tent last year for camping with my son's boy scout troop. I really like the room provided by the Trail Tent 3. It is larger than what I needed for myself but great when I shared the room with my son and all of our gear. We loved the dual doors and the space under the vestibule. It sets up quick and easy. At over 8 pounds (including rain fly and 5 X 7 tarp as a foot print) it is a little heavier than other back packing tents but if you divide the weight by two people (tent and fly vs poles, tarp, and stakes) you great a comfortable habitat for just a little weight. If it was just myself I would probably have gone with the Trail Tent 2. But with my 14 yr-old and my 5-yr-old, the Trail Tent 3 was the perfect choice for me. Michael on Jan 14th 2013
One word Outstanding!! This tent meets all your needs for a 3 season tent and you can not beat the price for the qulaty, you have guy out ropes for the fly and all seams are taped and the bottom of the tent is alot thicker then all ather $100.00 tents along with the fly, the tent poles are tapered fiberglass ( ok but not as good as alum.) I only found two things wrong with this tent 1 is no aluminum poles (I hope they add this feature in for replacements even if were to cost $70.00 thats stilll a good deal) and 2 no foot print comes with the tent but I guess I can not complane. And just one other thing I did recive a tent with a bad sowing job, but not to worry slumberjack OVERNIGHTED ME A NEW ONE with a prepaid returne shipping lable for the first one WOW good job Slumberjack and Thanks.
