Have had tent four years. We use it only 6-8 times per year. Just camped with 15-21 mph winds for 26 hours. Friends 3man tent was flipped over. Our Slumberjack Trail Tent 6 held up for about 20hours before 1 pole splintered. Spliced it with a branch and all was fine. Now looking for a replacement pole. Would highly recommend slumberjack tents! Bill on Jan 26th 2015
We set this tent up in the backyard for our girls to camp out in it and they love it. One day we'll take them out into the real wilderness. Paul on Oct 7th 2014
I originally purchased this tent via the "Clymb" website. As I do a lot of camping with my family as a Cub Scout, Boy Scout, and Venturing leader, I felt this tent would be optimal for my needs. This tent has been the biggest waste of money I have ever spent on camping gear. The poles have a tendency to split or shatter when a load is placed on them. The shock cords have snapped on me every time I've set this tent up (this past weekend was the FIFTH time I've set this up in my 1 1/2 years of owning this tent). When I say EVERY TIME, I mean it. Each of the five times I have set this tent up, I find my self having to replace a pole or rethreading shock cords. I have used 'off-brand' replacement poles, but for some reason they are just a bit thinner than what were supplied w/ this wonderful tent. I would not recommend this tent to anyone. I would recommend that Slumberjack offer more robust poles as an option. In much the same way Eureka! does with their Timberline and TimberlineOutfitter versions. Zero Stars G on Nov 1st 2013
