Took this thing out on an impromptu night by the lake.. I didn’t really have much of a plan but I figured I’d take this thing and see how it worked. Got out there and obviously it started raining unexpectedly! I have a pickup with no camper shell or anything so I wasn’t sure exactly how I was gonna set it up. I ended up tucking it down the gap between the cab and the bed, secured that end to the leaf springs and then using the typical one pole set up at the other end! All I gotta say is this thing is F’ing solid!!! Easy set up, heavy duty and sturdy! It poured rain all night and since this was my first time setting it up, there was some water pooling on the top... I’d reach up and push the tarp up so the water would flow off. COMPLETELY dry on the under side! No leak no condensation!!! The tarp is double stitched and taped with great reinforcement at the corners, the stakes are basic but heavy duty, the poles are beefy but relatively light! No joke, I considered buying a few more just to make sure I always have one handy!! Mike Mooney on Mar 12th 2018
Instant shade or escape that passing shower with the easy to set up Roadhouse Tarp. The biggest advantage is that you can set up the tarp without using a vehicle. Tie one side to some trees and use the poles in several configurations. Not to mention the poles are 96", so no ducking under or hitting your head is going to happen! The material is really strong yet lightweight. We've used it to have shade for a roadside picnic and can't wait to create a big covered area with our Overland tent. Finley on Sep 3rd 2017

I've tried everything from canvas to cheap blue plastic. I researched different tarps. This one is the real deal. Huge, well made, and super versatile. Add more poles, and the sky is the limit for configurations. I plan to hang mine off the front of my wall tent for a porch. A great buy. Rafter KM on May 12th 2017
Received the Road house tarp on a Thursday, took it to the back country on Friday for 3 days of jeep camping in my tj. Setup was a snap, I took it out of the box and set it up on site for the first time. I did erect it slightly off center of the jeep, but it didn't hinder the function. Drove the beefy stakes into gravel and bedrock, none bent. The poles are super strong and didn't require adjustments all weekend. Finally the tarp material is completely water proof. I live and camp in western Washington, we had rain for 2 full days and found no leaks. I have camped with blue tarps for a rear canopy on my jeep and they lead to endless adjustments all trip. The Road house allowed me to just enjoy the trip.
Highly recommend this to someone who is full throttle about car camping or hunting. Mine will be a staple of both from now on. Patrick on May 7th 2017
